Responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services needed by the organization. This includes identifying suitable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials to support operational efficiency. The role is also expected to lead the company's Localization Project, aiming to identify and qualify local suppliers as alternatives to imported components and materials. Responsibilities Procurement Management Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions. Monitor supplier performance and ensure supplier compliance with company standards. Maintain strong vendor relationships to support strategic sourcing. Localization Project Lead and drive the Localization Project to reduce dependence on imported materials. Identify and qualify local vendors that meet technical and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to validate local alternatives. Track localization progress, generate reports, and present updates to management. Support sustainability, cost-efficiency, and supply chain resilience through local sourcing. Inventory Support Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure material availability. Monitor critical stock levels and support reordering as needed. Participate in inventory audits and support reconciliation processes. Cost Management Monitor procurement expenses and track price trends. Prepare procurement-related cost reports. Identify and propose cost-saving procurement strategies. Compliance and Documentation Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures. Maintain procurement records and supplier contracts. Submit regular procurement reports to management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement.
