We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to design, govern, and evolve our enterprise data landscape with a strong focus on modern data lakehouse architecture. This role is responsible for building scalable, secure, and analytics-ready data platforms that support reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strategic architectural thinking with deep hands-on experience in cloud-based data ecosystems.Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & Platform DesignDefine and own the enterprise data architecture and target-state data landscapeDesign and implement data lakehouse architectures supporting structured and unstructured dataLead modernization from legacy data warehouses to lakehouse-based platformsEstablish architecture standards, patterns, and best practicesData Integration & ProcessingArchitect batch and real-time data ingestion pipelinesDesign scalable data processing frameworks using distributed computeIntegrate data from transactional systems, APIs, and third-party sourcesEnsure data reliability, performance, and cost efficiencyGovernance, Quality & SecurityDefine and enforce data governance, quality, and lineage standardsArchitect secure data access models including role-based access controlEnsure data privacy and regulatory compliance through designImplement metadata management and auditing capabilitiesAnalytics EnablementEnable BI, analytics, and AI/ML workloads through optimized data modelsSupport self-service analytics and standardized semantic layersPartner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholdersTechnical LeadershipProvide architectural guidance and design reviewsMentor data engineers and technical teamsTranslate business requirements into scalable data solutionsRequired Skills & CapabilitiesCore Technical Skills

Data Lakehouse platforms (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg) - Any
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Distributed data processing (Apache Spark)
Streaming & ingestion (Kafka or equivalent)
Advanced SQL and Python or Scala

Architecture & Design

Enterprise data architecture and reference modeling
Data modeling (dimensional and analytical models)
End-to-end data pipeline design
Performance optimization and cloud cost management
Governance & Security

Data governance and metadata management

Data quality frameworks
Security and access control design
Regulatory-aware data architecture

Experience & Qualifications * Experience in data architecture or data engineering

2+ years designing and implementing data lakehouse solutions
Proven experience managing complex enterprise data landscapes
Willing to do hybrid set up in BGC Taguig
