Design, build, and maintain Conformed layer data marts optimized for subject-area alignment, reusability, and downstream Data Product consumption
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models in line with enterprise standards and regulatory definitions
Collaborate with ELT, Analytics Engineers, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow across layers using Databricks and dbt
Apply enterprise data architecture patterns, naming conventions, and metadata capture to ensure consistency and interoperability across domains
Optimize Databricks SQL queries, data structures, and pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Support governance and adherence to best practices in data architecture and modeling
Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise data ecosystems through innovation and collaboration

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred certifications include CDMP, Databricks Data Engineer, dbt fundamentals/advanced, or equivalent industry credentials
At least 4 to 6 years in data modeling and cloud systems
Strong expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, SQL, and dbt; solid understanding of dimensional and relational modeling; familiarity with metadata, data lineage, and data quality management; knowledge of regulatory data handling and modern data architecture frameworks
Demonstrated competencies in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, and results orientation, with leadership skills in strategic thinking, problem solving, innovation, and building high-performance teams
