Design and validate technical architecture for data platforms, pipelines, and services that integrate with the enterprise IT stack
Lead performance tuning, capacity planning, and workload optimization across batch, streaming, and real-time applications
Establish and maintain CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated monitoring solutions for data and ML pipelines
Evaluate emerging data tools and technologies for suitability, interoperability, and compliance with organizational standards
Conduct research and proof-of-concepts to support innovation, balancing technical feasibility with business value and cost
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data solutions with enterprise priorities
Drive continuous improvement in data architecture practices to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified – Data Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data or equivalent
Relevant experience by level: 4–6 years in data engineering or platform development
Expertise in distributed data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, Snowflake, or BigQuery; strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-native services (Azure/GCP/AWS); deep knowledge of CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Proven ability to design scalable multi-cloud data solutions, with knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), MLOps frameworks (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI), and strong collaboration and leadership competencies across communication, problem solving, innovation, and strategic thinking
