Design and develop enterprise data marts in the Silver (Conformed) layer, ensuring subject-area alignment, reusability, and readiness for downstream Data Products.
Create and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) that adhere to enterprise standards and regulatory definitions.
Enable seamless integration and interoperability across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers by collaborating with ELT, Analytics Engineers, and IT using Databricks and dbt.
Apply architecture governance through consistent patterns, naming standards, and metadata capture to ensure enterprise-wide data consistency.
Optimize performance and scalability by tuning Databricks SQL queries, data structures, and pipelines for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields; postgraduate study preferred.
Professional credentials such as CDMP, Databricks Data Engineer, or dbt Fundamentals/Advanced Certification are an advantage.
Minimum 10+ years (Lead) in data architecture, engineering, or modeling; leadership experience required
Expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, SQL, dbt, dimensional/relational modeling (3NF, Star, Snowflake), metadata, lineage, data quality, and modern architectures (Data Mesh/Fabric, ELT pipelines).
Progressive proficiency in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, and results orientation; advanced strategic thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and ability to build and sustain high-performing teams and culture at senior/lead levels.
