- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Accurately categorize and enter all business transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Build complete balance sheets from scratch, including all company liabilities and assets.
- Review and update financial records regularly to ensure consistency.
- Communicate professionally with clients via email regarding financial matters, document requests, and reporting updates.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial documentation and reporting.
- Work independently and adapt to changes or ambiguity in workflows and priorities.
- 3+ years of solid experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
- Proven experience using QuickBooks Desktop (not QuickBooks Online).
- Strong written communication skills (email-based client interaction required).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fast learner and comfortable working in environments with minimal structure or evolving processes.
- Knowledge of balance sheet creation, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping practices.
