JOB OVERVIEWJob Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Operations Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records in Zoho Books and providing day-to-day support for order entry and operations tasks.This is a remote role ideally suited for someone with strong bookkeeping experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask between finance and administrative responsibilities.Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping (Primary Focus)
- Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books
- Record and categorize daily transactions (invoices, receipts, payments)
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly
- Generate and maintain financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Manage invoicing, billing, vendor payments, and accounts receivable/payable
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure tax compliance
- Ensure all financial documents are organized and audit-readyOperations Assistance / Order Entry
- Process and verify customer orders accurately
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate operational records
- Support other general administrative or operational tasks as neededRequirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (required)
- Zoho Books Certificate or any related one
- Experience handling accounts payable, receivable, and credit cards
- Experience with order entry or similar administrative operations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work 4 hours per day between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CT
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.To Apply
