Job description: This is a work in the office role based in Makati and Night Shift. Position Overview & Objective: The Human Resources Generalist is expected to focus on compliance within the Employee Relations arena. In this client-facing role, the Human Resources Generalist provides Tier- 1 level HR guidance and support to our clients. This role is part of a Human Resources team that strives to be a trusted advisor, while providing guidance through in- depth experience, sound research, compliance and HR Best practices. Primary Responsibilities : Provide heavy telephonic employee relations guidance for various issues and resolution Utilize a ticketing system to track and respond to client inquires (front- line) Meet demands of Service- Level Agreements (SLA's) on a day-to- day basis Attend Welcome Calls & HR initial calls for new clients, while fact finding through an HR Services Discovery Interpret and provide guidance regarding employment law; to include wage and hour Provide guidance on leave administration, specific to state and federal law Assist client contact with impartial and thorough employee relations investigations Recognize and escalate concerns regarding clients with potential risk and liability to HR department leadership. Create handbooks utilizing an electronic handbook generator and facilitating Q&A discussion with client Identify and create policies as needed Create job descriptions; research salary and wage data; Provide clients with various reports to support HR related processes for worksite employees Assist with identifying, creating and scheduling customer HR compliance training as requested Assist leadership with special projects, process improvements and strategy Other duties and projects as assigned Qualification and requirements: Basic Qualifications: HR Certification (PHR or SHRM- CP) 1-2 years' experience in a PEO environment Excellent customer service and follow up skills Ability to clearly and accurately communicate, translating complex HR subject matter and deliver solution to managers and C-Suite client contacts Natural relationship builder with ability to thrive in a high-volume environment Demonstrates emotional intelligence with a client centric attitude Preferred Qualifications: Restaurant or Hospitality industry experience Degree Level or Equivalent Combination of Education & Experience Bachelor's degree is preferred 1-3 years HR experience Non-negotiable skills & requirements: HR Certification (PHR or SHRM- CP) 1-2 years' experience in a PEO environment Excellent customer service and follow up skills Ability to clearly and accurately communicate, translating complex HR subject matter and deliver solution to managers and C-Suite client contacts Natural relationship builder with ability to thrive in a high-volume environment Demonstrates emotional intelligence with a client centric attitude Show more Show less
