Fractional HR Manager / HR Business Partner

- Provide fractional HR leadership and strategic guidance to founders and department heads
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and documentation
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Advise leadership on employee relations, HR best practices, and compliance considerations
- Design and improve performance review processes and feedback systems
- Support organizational planning and team structure as the company scales
- Contribute to compensation framework design and talent retention strategies
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee records, and internal systems
- Partner with recruiting teams to support hiring processes as needed
- Foster and promote a strong company culture aligned with mission and values
- 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a growing company environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience building HR processes and documentation from scratch (highly preferred)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and people operations tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
