The Labor Relations Specialist is a critical role within the People and Culture Department in its objective to maintain and achieve industrial peace. The role is focused on the general administration of Company policies and programs, and employee discipline. Ensuring grievance and disciplinary proceedings are performed consistent with the company policy and law is a core responsibility. Knowledge on Philippine labor laws and issuances from the DOLE and other government agencies, and keeping abreast of its developments, are of equal importance.This position reports to the Labor Relations Manager and supports the HR Business Partner and HR Advisors in dealing with disciplinary actions or proceedings across various campaigns and departments of the organization.You must be well-versed on Philippine labor laws and other pertinent rules and regulation. This includes familiarity of company policies and processes, and make sure that these are conscientiously complied with and enforced throughout the organization.Review incident report or complaint against employees.Conduct investigation on disciplinary action.Prepare and issue Notice to Explain, Notice of Administrative Hearing/Conference, among others.Conduct and facilitate administrative hearing/conferences on grave offenses.Recommend or determine appropriate resolution on administrative cases.Serve and discuss administrative resolutions/decisions to all concerned.Address labor-related concerns, including counseling and discipline of employees.Organize activities and forums that will enrich people management and employee discipline.Conduct trainings on Company policies and procedures.Prepare and contribute on constructing company policies.Carry-out efforts to maintain and enhance harmonious relationship between the management and employees.Prepare status and accomplishment report.Submit report required by the government for compliance.Serves as a critical resource to the HRBPs and HR Advisors in matters of Labor Relations.Proactively educates himself on changes in public policies in order for the organization to be up-to-date, and to implement necessary changes on its internal policies.Perform such other tasks that may be assigned.What You'll BringAt least 3 years of experience on the role (preferred by not strictly required).Advanced knowledge in labor laws, including DOLE advisories and other related standards.Sound decision-making skills.Creative and resourceful in solving problems.Good verbal communication skills.Excellent formal and persuasive writing skills.Familiarity in SEnA and arbitration proceedings in DOLE and NLRC (preferred but not strictly required).Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.With a diverse global team working together, we proudly embrace and live by these shared values:Collaboration: Brilliant jerks can be brilliant elsewhere.Impact: Do, get it done, create impact.Passion: Be positive, bring passion and energy.Transparency: A transparent team can help each other.What are you waiting for?
