- Own the cash application process by accurately posting incoming payments, resolving unidentified transactions, and managing settlements via external gateways.
- Drive collections success through proactive follow-ups on overdue accounts via phone and email, while building strong relationships that encourage timely payments.
- Handle credit management by maintaining up-to-date customer master data, setting appropriate credit limits, and performing SOX-compliant credit checks for new accounts.
- Resolve payment issues fast by investigating invoice discrepancies, processing credit adjustments, and escalating delinquent accounts to external agencies when needed.
- Deliver insightful reporting with aging analysis, weekly cash forecasts, and support for DSO tracking and GL reconciliations to guide financial decisions.
- Ensure account accuracy through monthly reconciliations, issuing customer statements, and preparing audit-ready documentation.
- Manage intercompany transactions by raising recharge invoices and ensuring proper reconciliation across entities.
- Champion process improvements by identifying automation opportunities and streamlining workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Support cross-functional initiatives by contributing to ad hoc projects, rebate processing, and other finance-related tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related Finance field.
- At least 3 years' proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable functions.
- Skilled in conducting credit checks, managing collections, and negotiating payment terms.
- Proficient in accounting systems, with a preference for NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel capabilities for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail, with a proven ability to identify and resolve account discrepancies.
- Capable of managing multiple accounts, prioritizing workload, and consistently meeting deadlines.
