This includes managing occupational health and safety (OHS) programs, supervising security personnel, and ensuring full compliance with government regulations and company policies.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all plant security operations, including in-house and outsourced security personnel.Oversee guard schedules, post assignments, and ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts.Coordinate with third-party security providers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service levels, and training standards.Conduct regular briefings, inspections, and performance evaluations of both internal and outsourced security guards.Monitor and maintain all security infrastructure, such as CCTV systems, alarms, access control, and perimeter defenses.Lead incident investigations and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.Develop and implement plant-specific security policies, emergency protocols, and crisis response procedures.Safety Management:Lead the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs in compliance with DOLE and other relevant regulations.Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.Ensure fire safety compliance, emergency preparedness, and the availability of first-aid and safety equipment.Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning.Deliver safety orientation, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.Collaborate with HR and operations teams to foster a culture of safety across all departments.Reporting & Compliance:Maintain documentation of all safety and security incidents, inspections, investigations, and training activities.Prepare and submit regular reports to management on safety KPIs, incident statistics, and risk mitigation updates.Ensure timely renewal of permits, licenses, and compliance with applicable government standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field.At least 8–10 years of combined experience in safety and security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Proven experience managing both internal and third-party security teams.Strong working knowledge of DOLE regulations, OSH standards, and security protocols.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.Proficient in the use of security and safety systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems).Ready to take the next step in your career?
