Join us as we shape the future of food in Asia and build a culture where, together, we nourish the future.Job DescriptionThe Reverse Logistics Specialist is responsible for collaborating with customers and vendors to resolve transport delivery issues and providing support to customers. for performing logistics support activities such as but not limited to accreditation and evaluation of service providers, service agreements / contracts management, claims management and freight cost management ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of services.He/She is responsible for identifying process improvement to increase productivity and improve quality and internal and external customer satisfaction .Scope:Transaction of trucks, vans, vessel shipment of goods and raw materials for claimsDamages to properties like warehouse damageBoth side of claims, process of claims to service providers & from provider filed claims to pilmicoAny role with SAP access:Ensure the accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to the process/es they are responsible for, including the recording of information and report generation in the designated forms and platforms (e.g. SAP)Integrate with other parties/ functions whose processes are interfaced with their processes (to enable alignment, efficient flow of the process, and effective implementation of controls)For detailed SAP-related tasks, please refer to the attached RACIDuties and Responsibilities:Process accreditation of new service providers and ensures compliance to accreditation requirementsMonitors and reviews validity of service agreements and/or contracts, permits and licensesMaintains updated service provider databaseEnsure to perform regular service provider performance evaluationHandles complaints related to claims process, coordinates with Salesforce TeamInitiates investigation of delivery / shipment incident and submit assessment report on-timePrepare and process claims against service providers on cargo damaged incidents and /or coordinates with the Risk Team for insurance claimsEnsure to monitor claims receivable and payment settlement coordinatesChecks and validates freight billing against shipmentInitiate freight cost review and identify alternatives to optimize freight costHandles logistics related projects that result in improved quality and customer satisfactionHandles investigation and closure of complaints related to damaged/discrepancy of goods and raw materials and damage to propertyCoordinates with the Risk Team for any transactions related to processing of insuranceOther Tasks:Maintains files of logistics documents and records in compliance to the quality management standardsEnsures compliance to food safety and quality standards set by HACCP, GMP & ISOPerforms other related activities that may be assigned by immediate superiorFood Safety:Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the companyResponsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authoritiesOther Tasks:Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etcPerforms other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superiorQualificationsEducation:Graduate of any 4 year business related courseExperience:At least 6 months work experience in logistics / supply chain or equivalentOther Requirements:Proficient in computerized systems and applications.Ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams.Detailed oriented and strong follow-up skillsCustomer focusAdditional InformationWork ConditionChoose one for each:Working Conditions and Hazards:Normal office environment
