About the Role This role is responsible for accurate and comprehensive review of requests and other related documents, validating compliance with guidelines. This role requires keen attention to details, expertise to process policy benefit requests, computation and adjustments. In addition, the position requires coordination with other business units, participation in cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned, and strict adherence to audit and compliance requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Processing of Policy Benefits Requests Accurately process Policy Benefits requests, adjustments, and related transactions within established turnaround times. Ensure all required documents complete, accurate and compliant before processing. 2. Review and Interpretation of Policies Conduct detailed review of policy contracts, guidelines, and endorsements to determine benefit eligibility and validate requests. 3. System Updates and Documentation Input accurate information into the appropriate systems Maintain proper documentation and ensure all actions have sufficient audit trail. 4. Compliance and Audit Preparedness Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit controls. Participate in post-audit reviews and address findings as needed. 5. Coordination with other Business Units Collaborate with internal departments such as Claims, Customer Service, Underwriting, DCS and B&C for resolution of cases and alignment on processes Provide support on escalated and/or complex transactions requiring cross-functional inputs. 6. Issue Resolution and Case Clarifications Handle inquiries and clarifications related to function Escalate exceptions or discrepancies to appropriate channels with proper documentation. 7. Project and Initiative Support Participate in testing activities (e.g., UAT) and system or process improvement initiatives as assigned. Support special assignments or temporary project-based roles as delegated by team leads or management. 8. Performance and Quality Standards Meet or exceed accuracy, productivity, and service level targets. Maintain quality and efficiency in processing while minimizing rework and errors. 9. Process Enhancement and Best Practices Proactively suggest improvements in workflows, procedures, and documentation to support operational efficiency and clarity for frontline teams. 10. Confidentiality and Information Security Ensure all client and policyholder information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and in compliance with data privacy policies. Minimum Job Requirements: Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred Industry: Insurance Years of Experience: 5 years is preferred Technical Skills: Benefits processing systems (TIPS, D365, Lifelines) Familiarity in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) including spreadsheet functions used in tracking, reporting and documentation Certifications / Licenses: LOMA courses, preferably
