About the Role The Global Mobility Manager will design, implement, and oversee our global mobility programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of international assignments, immigration laws, and relocation processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transfer of employees across borders while fostering a positive employee experience. Program Development: - Design and implement global mobility policies and procedures that align with company objectives. - Evaluate and enhance existing mobility programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local laws. Assignment Management: - Manage the end-to-end process of international assignments, including pre-assignment planning, expatriate compensation, and repatriation. - Serve as the primary point of contact for assignees, guiding immigration, tax, and other relocation-related matters. Compliance and Risk Management: - Stay current on global immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance - Mitigate risks associated with international assignments by proactively addressing legal and compliance issues. Vendor Management: - Collaborate with external vendors such as relocation agencies, immigration consultants, and tax advisors to optimize services and control costs. Qualifications 5+ years working at multinationals and/or tech companies in global mobility, expatriate management, or related fields Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus. In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations. Thorough knowledge of immigration, tax, and employment laws in various countries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English and Filipino with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
