Real Estate Underwriter

• Evaluate mortgage applications and related documents to assess borrower eligibility and creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine asset and liability status.
• Assess property values and perform thorough inspections and appraisals.
• Collaborate with loan officers, appraisers, and borrowers to gather and verify information required for underwriting.
• Utilize underwriting software and systems to accurately evaluate applications and generate appropriate recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide clear and concise explanations and justifications for underwriting decisions to stakeholders, including loan officers and borrowers.

• Fluent English
• Self-starter = does not need supervision always
• Will need to be able to comfortably make phone calls to clients or banks
• Outlook, CRM system
• 1-3 years of experience
• Preferred - 3-5+ years of experiences (rate will increase, if client not satisfied with 1-3 YOE quality, then he'll advise if YOE will change)
