Role Overview Role Overview The Team Leader will hold full accountability for leading a high-performing team of researchers to deliver the highest quality work across a portfolio of large, strategic, and complex brand tracking programs spanning multiple clients and markets. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, strategic alignment, and commercial impact across Kantar Insights Australia's offshore delivery. Success in this role is measured by the renewal and expansion of client projects, increased operating profit (OP), portfolio revenue growth, and the development of team capability and visibility. The Team Leader will model strategic leadership, financial acumen, and collaborative excellence - acting as a key partner to both offshore and onshore stakeholders. This is a specialist delivery role and does not involve client-facing responsibilities. Job Goals Lead and develop a high-performing team of up to 10 researchers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful delivery of brand tracking studies, maintaining continuity across public holidays and leave periods, while proactively managing delivery risks. Build team capability and visibility through coaching, mentoring, and participation in national initiatives. Drive strategic alignment and demonstrate financial acumen through effective resource allocation and optimisation of team utilisation. Champion quality by reviewing research materials, managing complex questionnaires, and embedding best practices through project playbooks. Model being an indispensable brand partner to our clients and Australian client-facing teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines, and contributing to long-term client success and retention. Role Requirements & Capabilities Educated to a degree level - ideally majoring in Communications, Marketing or Marketing Research, Cultural Studies or Psychology. 7-10 years relevant quantitative research experience, with proven team leadership skills. Demonstrates adaptability, agility, displays high level of resilience as well as demonstrating strong business acumen. Proficiency in brand tracking methodologies and knowledge of various statistical and analytical techniques and/or tools (such as RFS/Survey Reporter and Q). Strong project management skills with excellent problem-solving abilities, including risk mitigation and resource planning. Proven ability to coach and mentor team members to deliver high quality, strategic, insightful deliverables. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Familiarity with Kantar's Meaningful Different and Salient framework, Survey Delivery Model, QLIB and Configurable Automation is an advantage.
