
Accounting Manager

- Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA license preferred only.
- With at least 9 to 10 years of experience in general accounting and at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Preferably with accounting experience within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform depreciation calculations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
