General Accounting Manager (Pharmaceutical)

• Lead and manage the general accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee statutory and tax compliance activities, ensuring alignment with local and international financial regulations
• Ensure the integrity of accounting records in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
• Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, and audits
• Liaise with external auditors and government regulatory bodies
• Implement and monitor internal controls in SAP, particularly across FICO, SD, and MM modules
• Provide strategic insights to management based on financial data and analysis
• Drive continuous improvements in financial systems, reporting processes, and compliance protocols

• Must be a graduate of BS in Accountancy or related Finance course
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• A Master's degree in Financial Management or related field is an advantage
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior or managerial position
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry is preferred
• Strong background and working knowledge of SAP (FICO, SD, MM modules)
• Familiarity with IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
• Proven experience in managing tax and regulatory compliance
• Results-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proactive, dynamic, and committed to continuous improvement
