Department: FinanceRole Description:Alvita Care is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to assist with accounts receivable (AR) management, revenue cycle operations, and client invoicing. This role will play a key part in managing the billing master, creating and reviewing client invoices each billing period, performing account reconciliations, and supporting ad-hoc client financial analyses. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Excel and some experience in AR or revenue cycle management. In addition, excellent communication skills are critical for client interactions via phone and email when needed.This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data, client accounts, and solving billing-related issues in a dynamic and growing healthcare environment.Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, data analysis functions).
  • Experience with invoicing systems and general AR processes.
  • Ability to manage and update billing master files accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliations.
  • Ability to perform client account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies independently.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client correspondence.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a healthcare or service-oriented industry.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Prior experience supporting revenue cycle management teams.
  • Understanding of client billing cycles and third-party billing practices.
  • Previous exposure to long-term care (LTC) insurance billing processes.
  • Experience preparing client-facing reports or financial summaries.
