Solviva is the first venture launched from AboitizPower's 1882 Ventures, a venture studio focused on decentralizing the energy system and creating more sustainable homes, businesses, mobility, and networks. Role Overview We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer, Technical Lead to act as the strategic bridge between Solviva's business objectives and our technology capabilities. You will own and advance our core systems by managing data flows, automating business processes, and architecture for scalable technology solutions. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to integrate AI and third-party systems, streamline operations, and ensure our tech stack supports growth. Ideal candidates are technical leaders with hands-on experience in system design, app development, and team management, driven by a passion for turning business challenges into innovative technical solutions. Full Stack Development Design, build, and maintain internal tools, APIs, and web-based applications to support teams across sales, operations, aftersales, and finance. Develop both frontend (React, Vue, or similar) and backend (Node.js, Python, etc.) systems for internal and external users. Integrate third-party platforms and APIs (e.g., AI tools, solar monitoring systems, payment gateways). Manage and optimize databases and backend services for performance and reliability. Systems Ownership & Platform Architecture Own and evolve Solviva's tech stack, including Odoo, Zapier, and all core digital workflows. Define architecture and integration standards that ensure flexibility, scalability, and security across platforms. Identify when to build vs. buy-balancing custom tools with smart use of SaaS or low-code solutions. Maintain technical documentation and development playbooks. Business Process Automation Collaborate with business teams to map out workflows and automate key processes using custom scripts or tools. Develop internal dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automations that enable better decisions and faster execution. Data Management & Insights Design and maintain data infrastructure that enables accurate tracking of operational, financial, and customer data across platforms. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and accessibility across systems like Odoo, custom apps, and external integrations. Build internal dashboards or analytics tools to help teams make better, faster decisions. Support data-driven product and process improvements by surfacing insights from system usage and performance. Technical Leadership & Team Management Lead development projects end-to-end, from scope to deployment. Mentor junior developers or manage external technical partners as needed. Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery. Serve as the go-to technical resource across the company. Qualifications and Skills Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of full stack development experience, with exposure to both backend and frontend frameworks. Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a strong plus. Technical Proficiency Proficient in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, React, Vue, etc.). Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API integrations. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo), workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP). Comfortable navigating both product development and internal systems automation. Leadership & Execution Ability to manage technical projects independently from start to finish. Strong communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams. Comfortable mentoring others, reviewing code, and introducing engineering best practices.
