They are focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and require a meticulous and proactive individual to ensure their fulfillment and inventory processes run smoothly.The OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Operations Specialist to join our client's team in Georgia. This role is crucial for the smooth execution of the operational workflow, acting as the key link between the planning, fulfillment, and customer service teams. You will be responsible for managing inventory, resolving operational issues with their 3PL partner, and providing essential support for their subscription and wholesale channels.The ideal candidate is a meticulous problem-solver who can handle a wide range of tasks, from creating purchase orders to resolving stock issues. You will play a vital role in ensuring that customers, both individual and wholesale, receive their orders accurately and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & FulfillmentSupport the Planning team in purchase order creation, including the setup of SKUs & GTINs.Track inventory and manage purchase orders, liaising with the Planning team to flag low-stock or out-of-stock issues.Coordinate with the 3PL partner by issuing all purchase orders (POs), tracking inbound deliveries, and monitoring order processing statuses.Lead issue resolution by acting as the primary point of contact for the 3PL to resolve issues related to stickering, receiving errors, stock checks, and order status.Perform daily reporting and analysis on key performance metrics such as sales, discounts, returns, and inventory.Utilize Shopify and other analytical tools to track and report on website performance.Subscription & WholesaleManage subscription planning by partnering with the Planning team on quarterly plans and monthly renewals. Handle product allocations within virtual warehouses and tag products in the Shopify Admin.Provide all required wholesale data, including new SKUs, images, pricing, and available inventory.Upload order and tracking data into partner systems and process 3rd party sales in Shopify.Customer ExperienceCollaborate with the Customer Service team and the 3PL to resolve operational or fulfillment issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.Validate stock levels in Shopify warehouse locations and adjust flags in the Shopify Admin as needed.What You BringProven experience in an operations or fulfillment-focused role, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing inventory and purchase orders.Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners (3PLs, vendors).A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving operational issues.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify Admin, is required.Advanced Excel knowledge is a must. Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data entry and tracking will be tested.
