ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives related to road, utility, and drainage design. Utilize Civil 3D software to analyze site conditions, terrain, and existing infrastructure for optimal design solutions. Utilize Civil 3D software to create detailed engineering designs for roads, utilities, and drainage systems, incorporating alignment, profiles, cross-sections, and grading. Design road geometrics, including horizontal and vertical alignments, super elevation, and intersection layouts, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop utility layouts, including water supply, sewer, and stormwater systems, considering factors such as capacity, hydraulic efficiency, and sustainability. Design drainage systems, including stormwater management facilities, culverts, and channels, to mitigate flooding and erosion risks while promoting environmental stewardship. Utilize Civil 3D software to perform accurate quantity takeoffs for materials, earthwork, utilities, and drainage structures. Conduct design reviews and peer evaluations to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. Perform quality checks on Civil 3D models, drawings, and documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to project standards. Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: BS Civil Engineering graduate Must have at least 4 years knowledge and experience in Civil Works Design using Civil 3D Knowledge and experience in Microstation and OpenRoads Road Designer is an advantage Autodesk Certification Knowledge and experience in European codes is an advantage Can effectively communicate in English (oral and written) Must be willing to work in San Juan office.
