Permanent Work From Home setup Full-Time With PTO, Birthday Leave Choice of HMO and Insurance or both Annual Merit Increase Semi-annual Performance Bonus Duties include but are not limited to: Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close responsibilities and ensure team members are on track during close Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure optimum process and efficiency Ensure deadlines and controls are met in accordance with our policies and procedures Manage proper deliverables to external auditor on annual audits and quarterly reviews Lead internal audit engagements Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements Secures financial information by completing database backups Protects organization's value by keeping information Assist with month end close and other projects as needed Interact with various levels of management and peers Plan, schedule and organize work independently with minimum supervision to complete tasks within designated timelines Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and more than seven of experience in finance or accounting or a related area Certified Public Accountant is a plus Experience in a Big 4 firms a plus Must have QuickBooks Online & Bill.com experience Must have strong MS Excel skills Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS Experience developing financial reports and metrics Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization Strong organizational and time management skills System requirements: Computer Processor: Intel 8th generation or newer/AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer Computer Memory/RAM: At least 16.00 GB for both primary and back up computers Computer OS: Windows 11 and future enterprise operating systems Storage: 500 GB SSD With licensed MS Office and extra monitor Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 10 Mbps for back up connection) *Please send a copy of your updated CV in PDF format Show more Show less
