Monitor database systems and implement tuning and optimization strategies. Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database schema designs. Manage security by configuring access permissions and enforcing policies. Automate database administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python. Work with cloud database services like Azure SQL Managed Instances. Provide documentation of database configurations and processes. Skills Required: Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures. Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. Scripting skills for automation (PowerShell, Python). Ability to troubleshoot database performance issues and ensure high availability.
