Responsibilities Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) for bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting tasks. Perform detailed reconciliations of bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and file tax returns, including General Excise Tax (GET) and payroll taxes, with familiarity in ProConnect preferred. Post weekly payroll transactions into the accounting system and ensure payroll tax filings are accurate and timely. Provide weekly cash forecasts to assist with effective cash management. Generate and analyze weekly AR, AP, and Job Cost (JC) reports. Engage with clients via Zoom meetings to discuss financial reports, answer inquiries, and provide bookkeeping or tax-related guidance. Verify that reconciliations align with the General Ledger and maintain financial accuracy. Analyze actual costs versus estimated costs for jobs in progress to assess project profitability. Reconcile Credit Card Payable accounts to maintain financial integrity. Qualifications and Requirements Experts in QBO is required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong ability to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Comfortable handling Zoom calls with clients and explaining financial matters clearly Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and external parties. Understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements. Experience working in one of the big four: EY, Deloitte, PWC, and KPMG.
