Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, and governance across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and other modules. Define the platform's technical and data architecture to avoid rework, ownership ambiguity, and quality issues. Establish and enforce development, configuration, and integration standards to ensure long-term maintainability. Implement automated testing, code review, and quality gates to prevent human errors before production deployment. Drive CMDB and CSDM adoption to ensure accurate data, service mapping, and clear ownership models. Oversee complex integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven patterns. Provide architectural guidance to developers, administrators, and process owners, ensuring consistent design patterns. Lead technical reviews, impact assessments, and risk analysis for new features and enhancements. Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions. Continuously improve platform performance, security, automation, and compliance readiness. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in ServiceNow, including architecture-level responsibilities. Deep expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.) and custom app development. Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise, plus solid understanding of Java and API integration patterns. Skilled in web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX) and SOA/microservices architectures. Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Maven, Nexus) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Strong SQL/NoSQL database knowledge (Oracle, Postgres, Elasticsearch). Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Windows server basics. Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and mentor technical teams. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and Certified System Administrator.
