Job Description The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company's only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine. OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Business Analyst for a 2-yea r fixed-term employment to identify, communicate and implement improvements relating to business processes, operational systems and financial opportunities and assist the team in identifying opportunities, trends, irregularities, or inconsistencies with collected process information. Responsible also for building analysis tools for interrogating raw data from process information. Key tasks and responsibilities: Consistently seek and implement better ways of doing things to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness; Seek smart and creative solutions to emerging challenges; Support the company's plans and programs by appropriating operations budget in alignment with the organization's strategic plans, and monitoring budget performance as to revenues, operating and capital expenditures, thereby supporting the achievement of organizational goals; and Execute project plans to achieve objectives within the identified timeframe. Qualifications Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way; Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, or Metallurgy; Experience within a mining or industrial environment highly regarded; Computers and database management skills; and Drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
