Role Overview The Data Quality Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of market data across multiple platforms. As a key contributor to the client experience, this role helps differentiate Parameta Solutions' offering in a competitive market. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to monitoring real-time data systems, swiftly diagnosing anomalies, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues with precision and efficiency. Role Responsibility Independently monitor real-time price validation systems to detect and fix data errors and delays. Use market knowledge to triage anomalies and anticipate the impact of market-moving events to improve data quality parameters Escalate data issues to internal teams (e.g., engineering, analytics, product) and external data providers, ensuring clear documentation of the problem, its impact, and any interim workarounds. Conduct in-depth data analysis and fault diagnostics to identify the root causes of anomalies, delays, or inaccuracies in market data. Apply statistical and technical methods to isolate issues, and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and improve overall data quality. Collaborate with Parameta Solutions and TP ICAP technical and analytics teams to maintain system functionality. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Data Quality leadership. Participate in system enhancement initiatives by providing detailed feedback on data validation tools and workflows; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, ensuring they meet operational and data quality requirements. Lead incident management and root cause analysis, including documentation and follow-up actions. Experience / Competences Essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with financial markets and data flows. Experience with real-time data monitoring tools and QA applications. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Two to Three Years in the Senior Data Quality Role or equivalent. Desired Prior experience in a data quality, market data, or operations role. Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data platforms. Exposure to machine learning or automation tools for data validation.
