Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Department: Operations Work Set Up: Hybrid Reports To: Operations Director Job Summary The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a vital role in enabling data-driven decision-making at Dermorepubliq by developing scalable dashboards, data models, and automated reporting solutions. Reporting under the Business Intelligence Function under Operations Department, the role supports key business unitssuch as ecommerce, finance, and operationsby transforming data into structured, accessible formats that allow stakeholders to generate their own insights. While the focus is on system-building, the BI Analyst also helps surface patterns and performance trends through well-structured reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities Data Integration & Modeling Design and manage ETL pipelines to consolidate data from ERP, CRM, POS, ecommerce platforms, and other systems. Create and maintain robust data models to support cross-functional reporting. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across platforms and business units. Data Visualization & Reporting Infrastructure Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting systems using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, and similar platforms. Develop visual representations of performance data (e.g., KPIs, metrics, forecasts) for stakeholder self-service. Structure reporting tools in ways that surface key patterns, anomalies, or trends to aid insight generation. Ensure dashboards are accurate, timely, and user-friendly for non-technical users. Automation & Process Efficiency Automate recurring reports and reduce manual work by building scalable reporting pipelines. Create reusable templates, metrics, and models that standardize analytics output across the organization. Support the creation of consistent KPIs and performance summaries that stakeholders can interpret independently. Identify and implement process improvements to shorten the gap between data collection and decision-making. Governance & Technical Documentation Maintain documentation of data structures, business logic, and dashboard configuration. Support data governance initiatives to ensure quality, accuracy, and security across reporting assets. Train non-technical users on how to interpret and interact with dashboards, encouraging self-service without sacrificing accuracy. Qualification And Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles. Experience working with ecommerce, financial, or operational data is highly desirable. Familiarity with fast-paced, data-driven environments in retail, FMCG, or digital commerce is a plus. Skills & Competencies Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel (Power Pivot, DAX), SQL, Anaplan, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools. Experience in building ETL processes and integrating data from various business systems (ERP, CRM, POS, ecommerce platforms). Strong understanding of financial and operational data structures (e.g., sales, cash flow, variance, and forecasting). Familiarity with data automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Power Query, Python) is an advantage. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and designing scalable, maintainable analytics architectures. Ability to model complex datasets and maintain scalable analytics frameworks. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure data in ways that promote business insight. High attention to detail and accuracy in working with data. Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
