A Project Finance Specialist is responsible for keeping track of project costs, resources, budgets, and deadlines. He/She will help Senior Accountant and Finance Manager make informed decisions by providing reports and analyses regarding project progress. Key Responsibilities: Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring expenditures align with the allocated budget. Analyze and compare the financial aspects of projects with their progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment between financial performance and project milestones. Collaborate closely with project lead, stakeholders, and team members to provide timely financial and performance updates. Prepare and present reports that outline project progress, financial standing, and any potential risks or deviations from the plan. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure document control so that project team members have all the right information they need. Provide guidance and leadership to project personnel. Identify and manage potential risks and issues. Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in finance, accounting, or business administration At least three years of experience as a project controller or a similar role Experience in financial analysis, accounting or budget management Strong Excel skills and attention to details Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of project management systems. Ability to analyze performance data and establish performance metrics. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
