Summary:A leading financial institution is looking for a Senior Finance Project Specialist to support the design, build, testing, and rollout of finance systems projects. Working under the Finance Reporting Head, this role plays a key part in delivering large-scale transformation initiatives with exposure to both local and regional stakeholders. This is a 12-month project engagement, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role subject to performance and business requirements.Responsibilities:
Liaise, coordinate, and work with project stakeholders for the design, build, and testing activities of the project, under the supervision of the Finance Reporting Head.
Help implement and complete the project on time based on agreed deliverables, including full documentation and handover.
Provide regular updates to the Finance Reporting Head and the Regional Office Finance Operations Head, raise concerns, and support the resolution of issues.
Identify and address any challenges during the project promptly, contribute to finding solutions, and ensure the project stays on track.
Assist the Finance Reporting Head and the Regional Office Finance Operations Head with other finance tasks and projects as may be assigned or delegated.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required)
5+ years of experience in finance systems, including 2+ years in implementation and project rollout
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA (Accounts Payable and Financial Accounting and Controlling modules), with knowledge of SAP Ariba
Experience in the insurance, financial services, or shared services industry is a strong advantage
Strong project management skills with at least two successful project implementations or rollouts
With strong communication skills, agile, and able to work independently in a multinational, project-driven environment
