As an Accounts Receivable Intern, you will support the Accounts Receivable Specialists in day-to-day transaction processing and ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks. You will be responsible for submitting and completing operational and/or clerical tasks as requested by the AR Lead, while maintaining proper documentation and supporting the overall efficiency of the AR function.What You'll DoYou will contribute to the attainment of the company’s cash flow and Past Due targets by supporting the timely, accurate, and appropriate recording of payments and basic dispute resolutions in customer accounts, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.You will assist the Accounts Receivable Team Lead and Specialists in daily, weekly, and monthly AR reconciliation activities to help ensure accurate reporting and a smooth month-end closing process.You will develop and maintain constructive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers by providing timely support on AR-related concerns.You will support the resolution of internal and external customer inquiries related to cash application, escalating complex issues to the appropriate AR Specialist or Team Lead when necessary.What We're Looking ForYou are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related field.You have a good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as general accounting procedures.You possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, allowing you to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.You have basic proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.You can provide a School/University MOA and an Endorsement Letter.You demonstrate accuracy and strong attention to detail.You have excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.You enjoy participating in extracurricular activities and consider yourself a team player.You value diversity and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in your interactions.Step into real-world experience — join us as an intern and grow with purpose!#Li-Hybrid#LI-MCGoodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
