Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: The Finance Controller is responsible for creating and implementing financial strategies and plans, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Budgeting and Forecasting: The Finance Controller is responsible for developing and managing the company's budget and forecast, ensuring that it aligns with the company's financial goals and objectives. Financial Reporting: The Finance Controller is responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and external stakeholders. Financial Compliance: The Finance Controller is responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, including tax laws, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Cash Management: The Finance Controller is responsible for managing the company's cash flow, including monitoring, and forecasting cash balances, developing, and implementing cash management policies and procedures, and managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Banking relationships - The Treasury team manages the company's relationships with banks and other financial institutions to ensure that the company is getting the best possible terms and conditions for its financial transactions. Managing cash and liquidity - The Treasury team ensures that the company has adequate cash on hand to meet its financial obligations, including paying employees and vendors, managing debt payments, and funding future projects. Cash forecasting - Treasury professionals prepare cash flow forecasts to help the company make informed decisions about its short-term and long-term financial strategy. Risk Management: The Finance Controller is responsible for identifying and managing financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Team Management: The Finance Controller is responsible for leading and managing a team of finance professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that the team is adequately resourced and trained to meet the company's financial goals. Mandatory/Primary Skills: Job Specification: Formal Education: Bachelor's degree holding in the field of Finance or Accounting, must have a professional license. With at least 15 years' experience in finance/Accounting and 5 years' experience on the same role. Preferably with experience on construction industry.
