AI prompt Engineer

• Design, test, and optimize prompts for various AI use cases (e.g., summarization, code generation, dialogue systems, creative writing, customer service).
• Analyze AI outputs for quality, bias, hallucination, and alignment with task requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and UX designers to integrate prompts into end-user applications.
• Develop prompt libraries and documentation for reuse across projects.
• Stay updated with advances in LLM capabilities and prompt engineering techniques.
• Conduct A/B testing and performance benchmarking to iteratively improve results.
• Help design evaluation metrics for prompt effectiveness and safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini).
• Strong command of English (or relevant language) with attention to clarity, tone, and intent in prompt formulation.
• Analytical mindset and familiarity with testing frameworks and data evaluation methods.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Familiarity with prompt tuning, fine-tuning, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Experience in prompt engineering for specific domains such as law, healthcare, education, or coding.
• Scripting knowledge (Python preferred) to automate prompt evaluation and experimentation.
• Understanding of ethical considerations in AI model behavior and prompt design.
