Job Description This position requires specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of the office and project quality activities. With authoritative decision-making this role's recommendations have a significant impact on business line quality policies and programs. This role may supervise the work of assigned quality personnel as needed. . Implement and supervise technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), and help to maintain harmonious client relations . Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of business line personnel . Serve as project Quality Manager on small to medium sized projects, if necessary . Maintain relationships with key internal and external Clients and external Quality community . Typically manage Quality Control Inspection personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback . Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred . Experience working under International Building Code . Experience working under Department of Energy Orders 414.1D Quality Assurance and 226.1B DOE Oversight of Contractors Program . Experience working to requirements of ASME NQA-1-2019 . Five (5) years of related Quality/project experience . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills .
