- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis process.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Present financial results and key insights to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance.
- Play a key role in developing and executing the company’s financial strategy.
- Support business units by providing financial analysis and performance tracking.
- Lead the evaluation of investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on financial risks and opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve financial performance.
- Oversee cash flow planning to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.
- Identify opportunities to optimize working capital and maximize returns.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee corporate financing arrangements.
- Supervise treasury functions, including fund placements, currency hedging, and foreign exchange management.
- Ensure the company adheres to financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop risk management strategies, including tax planning and mitigation of financial risks.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and adjust policies accordingly.
- Oversee key financial functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Tax.
- Manage the finance team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with best practices.
- Oversee financial systems, ensuring automation and continuous improvements in reporting.
- Lead financial strategy execution across departments and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide financial reports and insights to external stakeholders as required.
- Lead financial negotiations, including loan agreements and investment deals.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
- Experience in both local and international financial reporting standards.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, financial law, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder and investor relationship management experience.
