Vishay Binan is currently seeking applicants for Staff Product Engineer (Sustaining) to provide product engineering support in manufacturing, planning, marketing, quality assurance and reliability, subcontractors and other special engineering function in order to achieve excellent quality products and yield in line with corporate goal. This is a position that provides an opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.Job Location:Siliconix Philippines, Inc. is located in Binan, Laguna Philippines. There are approximately 200 employees who currently work in Vishay Binan. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. The plant manufactures power MOSFETs. The Vishay Siliconix MOSFET product line includes a diverse range of advanced technologies in more than 30 package types, from the chipscale MICRO FOOT® and thermally advanced PowerPAK® families to the classic “TO” transistor outline.What you will be doing:Operations’ Support

Provide support on company goals through generation of cost reduction activities and efficiency projects.
Initiate yield improvement activities on DS and FT testing and provide technical support on assembly yield enhancement.
Provide product and technical support on Sub-Con and Fab transfers through reliability and qualification activities.
Provide disposition on all hold lots detected through yield loss within a specified lead time and drive improvement to reduce lots being held.
Provide support on the closure of NOVs and MRBs issued to address product and line abnormalities and disturbances detected.
Monitor and report DS and FT yield including rooms for continuous improvement.

Customer and CAR Support

Provide technical and product support and recommendation during bench testing and electrical verification of customer requirements and CAR units.
Provide technical and product support on 8D generation and closure.
Provide support and perform activities required on various PCNs.

Product Improvements Qualification

Prepare monitor and ensure timely completion of the reliability requirements of the product improvement under qualification through the 1910 and 1930 documents.
Perform performance and parametric analysis of the test result of the device and advise findings and recommendations for product.
Update the test plan and define the limits needed in ensuring that the product adheres to Vishay Quality standards during product testing, if necessary
Update the manufacturing product flow setup upon product improvement release.
Prepare and update the datasheet, if needed
Ensure results are communicated to all stakeholder, including but not limited to, the success rate of the product improvement qualification made.

Safe Launch Activity

Supervise safe launch plan to monitor and track product performance and improvement effectiveness over a defined criteria.
Monitor and reports MRT and ORT
Update the SYL and SBL setup of running models based on its recent performance.

What you will bring along:

Graduate of BS Electronics Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in Product and/or Test Engineering, preferably in a semiconductor environment
Knowledgeable in Discrete, MOSFETS, IPD, Analog Switch devices
Proficient in computer processes
Has good oral and written communication skills
