- Coordinate and manage between suppliers, the operational units, for the procurement and effective Materials management.
- Organize Tenders and supervise the Tender process among suppliers.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and business unit to ensure the effectiveness of supply chain management process.
- Sourcing of products for the business unit to identify and maximize industry competitive marketplace procurement fulfilment.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers ensuring maximum advantages secured with price, cost of supply, service and conditions
- Maintain best practice and process for the direct imported items – updated with customs and licensing requirements from government departments.
- Efficiently manage any third-party suppliers/subcontractors, this includes negotiation of SLA's and Deliverables from suppliers, and warehouse and stock levels of perishable, non-perishable, bars and potentially other merchandise items, duty free and dry store goods.
- Establish solid understanding in cost calculations, pricing and costing
- Work closely with production and sales on menu developments to introduce new innovatingmarket product solutions.
- Ensure the effective management of supply data on prices, market conditions trends and forecast in System are accurate and available to relevant parties in timely manner.
- To attend Management Meetings.
- A major role in new projects for business unit operations.
- Assist the DivHQ Supply on centralized sourcing project objectives.
- College Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or any related course. Has at least 3 years work experience in the same capacity or preferably from an airline and catering company.
- Has at least 3 to 5 years' work experience in the same capacity preferably from airline and catering operations, supply chain management and/or hotel and restaurant environment.
- Good knowledge in food supply management and material costs, good experience in supply chain, procurement and materials management, excellent negotiation, organizational and presentation skills, good experience in supply agreement process, strong knowledge of import rules and regulations, computer-literate (MS Office proficient)
- Above average skill in both verbal and written communication as well as good acumen in business and technical agri-related writing.
- Above average in mathematical computations. ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Good people skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

- Physical Demands: The employee will be required to exert physical demands on regular basis: sitting, walking, viewing a computer monitor, typing, handwriting, answering the phone, talking and hearing. In good physical well-being, able to handle long distance walking and stair climbing activities.
