About This Role You will be working closely with an Australian firm who has been in the business of accounting and SMSF for quite some time. Your technical SMSF accounting expertise will come in handy as you perform processing and analyzing simple to complex funds. This role works best for people who'd like to master their craft, be more involved in challenging superfund arrangements, and acquire XPM/Class Super skills. Your Role As a strong team player, you will help existing SMSF staff by being detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate in your tasks. In addition, you will also be provided training and exposure to General Australian Taxation (Non-SMSF) work Key Responsibilities Processing of SMSF data manually or via data feed to trial balance stage using either SimpleFund 360 or BGL Desktop Reconciling of investments and investment income Reconciliation of contributions, expenses, tax and pensions Preparation of SMSF financial statements and associated workpapers Preparation of SMSF income tax and regulatory returns Prepare and reconcile Business Activity Statements Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy 1 - 2 years of significant experience in accounting, self-management super funds, preferably from an accounting firm Ideally with experience using software like Class Super, SimpleFund 360 and BGL desktop Excellent English proficiency skills Show more Show less
