- Leverage GHD's diverse capabilities and resources to address challenges and create value for clients in the Resources market.
- Increase visibility of the competition in the Resources market in the Philippines.
- Design and execute a business strategy to maintain GHD's leadership, promote market share growth, and increase contracted revenue.
- Lead business development by planning and responding to tenders and proposals.
- Expand the client base by promoting GHD's services at forums, meetings, and industry events.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new clients to strengthen repeat business and broaden revenue sources.
- Provide insights and directions to identify major and strategic pursuits.
- Unlock client pain points and develop winnable solutions with GHD business groups.
- Build strong relationships with delivery partners, government agencies, and joint venture partners to champion GHD's Resources business.
- Oversee the delivery of Resources projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are on time and on budget.
- Convene a client engagement team and manage curated client information with regular contact and meetings.
- Provide national leadership for Resources project pursuits, including business development activities in mining, cement, steel, and other emerging sub-markets.
- Lead and manage client-facing activities to achieve annual growth and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with senior management, colleagues, and project partners to create innovative solutions for clients.
- Contribute to GHD's short and long-term profitability through strategic or major project wins.
- Improve proposal conversion rates.
- Lead or support pursuit plans and tender responses for major Resources projects.
- Develop and submit proposals for large or complex, high-risk projects.
- Enhance personal brand through thought leadership activities.
- Act as a steering group committee member on major projects or joint ventures.
- Coach and mentor staff to increase business development capability and client connectivity.
- Map and manage revenue targets to identify sources of revenue and losses.
- Maintain the health of the market's revenue pipeline with updated components.
- Keep a list of top pursuits (opportunities and proposals).
- Define strategies to surpass competition for top viable or must-win proposals.
- Improve tender/bid success rates.
- Lead activities contributing to GHD's short- and long-term profitability.
- Establish and implement a strategic vision for Resources nationally with a rigorous business plan.
- Strong reputation in the Philippine Resources market.
- Strong network of client relationships in mining, cement, steel, oil, gas, or similar sectors, with high-level connections in the private sector and market authorities.
- At least 3 years of experience at a Technical Director/Principal level.
- Led engineering projects in mining and cement industries for at least 5 years.
- At least 7 years of experience in a matrixed engineering consulting environment with heavy client-side exposure.
- Proven track record of winning and delivering major Resources projects.
