General Responsibilities Responsible for Philiphines logistics of package imports, warehousing and distribution to customers while ensuring timely Delivery of product and requested ETA's are met. This task includes the activities below. Liaise with customers and transport company for pickup and deliveries to ensure smooth operation. - Monitor import shipment, coordinate with Customs Broker for cargo clearance. - Negotiate with supplier and third-party service providers. Develop logistics partners while maintaining personal and corporate relationships that produce effective logistics services in the long term. - Ensure cost related to logistics were captured in SAP within the same month by raising PO. - Work with supplier networks to optimize warehouse costs, improve availability, Leadtime, delivery schedules and other factors. Inbound Logistics - Monitor container status via carrier portals and ensure timely arrival of product and requested ETA's are met. - Download shipping documents from BDP Portal and send them to the Broker and warehouses at least 14 days prior to the ETA. - coordinate with the Customs Broker to make sure the legislative requirement were met. - Applying for Import permit and ensure it is obtained at the shortest time. Inventory Management - Stock replenishment which includes placing STO's. - Work with Global Logistics and Asia logistics team to ensure correct shipping document received. - Investigate any stock variances, raise claims against warehouses and freight forwarder when required. - Ensure the appropriate stock availability and service level to all customers. - Manage annual stocktake at PH Warehouse. Address all internal and external customer complaints promptly and appropriately to ensure zero loss of business due to Novus or Novus business partner's actions or failures. Address complaints regarding logistics issues within the Novus Issues Management Tool in order to view, track and improve service levels and increase customer satisfaction. Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures. General Guidance for Key Knowledge/Skills/ Experience Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related supply chain experience in logistics function (multi-national corporation experience is preferable). Demonstrated knowledge of effective logistics solutions, order fulfillment processes, foreign trade and import/export regulations (Exposure to Bureau of Animal Industry process is preferable). Proficient in SAP applications and Microsoft Office. Demonstrated negotiating skills working with logistics service contracts and operating agreements. Strong interpersonal skills are required both interdepartmentally within Novus and externally with service providers and strategic partners to ensure our logistics endeavors are in full support of our growth strategy.
