We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Scientist II to join our Global Technical Services Organization (TSO) team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and love solving complex challenges in the lab, this could be the perfect role for you. You'll play a key role in supporting Avon International's product development and reformulation efforts. From evaluating raw ingredients to developing and refining formulas, you'll help ensure product quality, continuity, and cost-effectiveness. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, supply chain, and marketing, as well as external partners and suppliers. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our beauty portfolio across global markets. Key responsibilities: Conducting lab work to evaluate raw ingredients and formulate new or improved products across all beauty categories Supporting reformulation, simplification, and brand migration projects Managing formula documentation and approvals through R&D systems Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to align on project goals and timelines Assisting with special projects and daily lab operations to support business continuity and innovation Ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and company policies What we're looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field At least 2 years of laboratory experience, ideally with emulsions, surfactants, or color cosmetics Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulation processes, and manufacturing Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices and lab safety standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional team environment What we offer: We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with wellness resources and work-life balance support in line with your country practices and Avon purpose aiming to help you live a healthier life, protect you and your dear ones, and ensure you're at your best.
