Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible in assisting the Department head in developing and implementing talent acquisition & manpower strategies to support the company's various recruitment requirements. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Account Management Coordinates with the Business Units to understand business requirements, calibrate skill set & qualification requirements Sources, screens, and short lists applicants Determines appropriate sourcing strategies Identifies future hiring needs in partnership with the BU heads and proactively sources for potential hires & talents in the market Channel Management Maximizes all sourcing channels to obtain applicants for company vacancies Utilizes social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Jobstreet) to look for and connect with potential candidates Develops relationships with third party recruitment agencies, professional organizations, and partner schools to support hiring and pooling initiatives of the company Manages contact with external vendors/agencies and contract negotiations and renewal Manages sourcing initiatives from planning to execution and post-hiring activities Sources potential candidates with the use of traditional and/or non-traditional recruitment channels Activates sourcing strategies and platform based on the needed vacancy requirement of the company Ensures strategies and career opportunities are advertised thru external and internal platforms to widen reach of the initiatives Addresses inquiries from job portals as well as internal inquiries from employees Participates in off-site/ on-site recruitment events Tracks channel performance periodically and recommends solutions to improve channel performance Applicant Processing Evaluates applications received and determines the suitability for the various vacancies Conducts resume reviews/ paper screening and phone screening of candidates Administers the pre-employment exams to applicants Provides feedback to candidates for any developments and updates on the initial sourcing assessment Presents terms of employment to junior officer and staff level applicants, including compensation and benefits package, for negotiation and acceptance Ensures that candidates being processed follow the standard recruitment process and turn-around time Ensures that all regulatory and internal policy checks are cleared before endorsement to hiring Obtains approving body's decision on the hiring of potential candidates Coordinates the onboarding requirements and processing of the applicants for hiring Plantilla Management Adheres to the approved organization-wide and business specific plantilla Implements all manpower movements, organization vacancy declarations, fill-up, and internal employee transfers and ensures that they are consistent with the approved organizational structures On-boarding Process and Regularization Ensures completion of all pre-employment requirements Ensures submission of complete hiring documents Oversees the regularization of talents under the assigned business units Report Management Ensures preparation of timely and accurate management reports Ensures data integrity across all TA functions and proper management of databases. Ensures that reports are generated in a timely and consistent manner in accordance with the turnaround time Others Ensures compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements and company policies Recommends improvement in policies, systems and procedures to ensure effectiveness of sourcing and recruitment efforts. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a field related to human resources, business, or psychology At least with 1-2 year experience in recruitment, include experience with full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, and interviewing Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates, hiring manager, and other stakeholders Experience in managing the entire hiring process from job posting to onboarding Knowledge of tools like LinkedIn, Boolean search and other specialized job boards for effective candidate sourcing Analytics skills and knowledge in analyzing data related to recruitment metrics and report proficiency Proficient in MS office applications, i.e. MS excel, etc. Willing to work full-time onsite in Makati Head Office Show more Show less
