We are problem solvers. And we will be better with you.We are currently seeking for a self-driven Buyer to be part of a member of the Purchasing Team. You will be responsible the efficient, economical, timely and ethical procurement of inventories and non-inventory items and services at optimized cost to the company. In this role, you will in-charge of supply planning and procurement of inventory items, sourcing, negotiation and purchase of service and material requirements (non- stock items) as required by the company and/or functional areas.This exciting opportunity is 100% office-based at our Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.What you will do:
  • Strategically plan, initiate, and oversee a material procurement process aimed at securing the most cost-effective, highest quality, and timely delivery of materials from both internal and external suppliers.
  • Coordinate with various departments to reduce raw material inventory losses and spoilage by effectively managing distressed inventory items.
  • Implement top-notch strategies for daily supply chain management. This includes integrating sales forecasts with sales, procurement, supplier management (including third-party logistics partners), and inventory control.
  • Continuously identifying material or supplier gaps such as initiating activities in collaboration with various departments and regional/global purchasing teams to expand the raw material and supplier base effectively.
  • Enhance staff capabilities and drive organizational growth.
  • Participating in supplier-quality improvement to enhance overall operations.
  • Establishing and implementing programs for Quality Management Systems is key to ensuring consistent quality standards.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or any business-related course.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Planning and Purchasing functions, preferably in a multinational set-up.
  • Skilled in supply - materials planning.
  • Computer literate, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience in procurement preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented; able to comprehend which issues to prioritize and which details to monitor.
