This full-time remote role requires expertise in invoicing and receipting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will support our financial operations with a proactive approach, contributing to the success of our property management and sales divisions. Key Responsibilities Manage rental trust accounts, ensuring all tenant funds (e.g., security deposits, rental income) are accurately recorded and separated from operational funds. Oversee sales trust accounts, processing and reconciling transactions related to property sales and ensuring fiduciary compliance. Perform general accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, month-end closings, and preparation of financial statements. Generate and verify invoices for tenants, vendors, and clients, ensuring timely issuance and accuracy. Process and reconcile receipts, applying payments to appropriate accounts and resolving discrepancies. Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collections and maintaining healthy cash flow. Prepare and analyse reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and trust account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including trust accounting standards. Collaborate with property managers, sales teams, and external auditors to support financial operations. Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and maintain accurate financial records. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor&aposs degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust accounting (rental or sales) and general accounting. Proficient in invoicing and receipting processes, with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including trust account management. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero Certified, or similar platforms). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a secure home office setup. Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification. Experience in property management or real estate sales accounting. Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards.
