Job Description- Performs general accounting tasks such as creating Journal Entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.- Reconciles bank accounts, including investment accounts.- Prepares ARK's financial reports.ARK is a company acquired by Poplar the financial reports and discusses the details with the board homeowners through emails or calls to resolve account ledger ARK's processes for future migration to the Poplar Homes system.Qualifications- A graduate of BS Accountancy or BS Accounting Technology.- Preferably with 3-5 years of related experience in accounts payable and/or general accounting from a real estate, property management, or HOA company.- Has experience with Budgets, particularly in Excel format.- Has a strong understanding of how debits and credits work and how they differ for assets and liabilities/income and expenses.- Experienced in reading financial reports to uncover errors and provide a summary of notable variances to ARK's staff.- Ability to communicate effectively to explain financial reports and accounting transactions to ARK's clients (board members) via email, phone, or video conference.- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot, macros, etc.)- Proficient in Google Workspaces (spreadsheets, docs, drive, meet, etc.)- Has very good written communication in communicating w/ internal & external customers and has very good oral communication skills.- Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and a critical thinker.- Accounting VA experience is a PLUS.- Willing to work on a graveyard.- Can work with minimal supervision and under pressure.Plus- Experience with Appfolio and Caliber are a plus.- CPALE passer is a plus.Salary offer: P --,000About Poplar Homes" is a national technology-enabled property management company that empowers property owners and residents throughout their lifetime real estate journey.
