J ob Summary; The Project Manager is responsible for the technical support to the business development group from the conceptualization of a project, feasibility study, preparation of technical specifications for tendering process, tender evaluation, negotiation and selection of vendors. Upon contract signing or issuance of a notice to proceed, he/she acts as the project manager and shall oversee and manage the entire project implementation to ensure that project specifications are met, safety procedures are followed and actual progress or accomplishments are properly tracked to complete the project as scheduled and within budget. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to): 1. Oversee the project and manage site activities, including equipment delivery, project schedule and progress monitoring, safety, health and environmental requirements compliance, budget tracking, and conduct of test and commissioning works. 2. Manages contract ( ie EPC, Supply or Construction Contract) compliance of contractors or suppliers, review milestone payment claims and track payments, review and evaluate variation claims per the requirements of the contract 3. Monitor actual progress of the project activities compared to the Contractor's schedule and provide a weekly status update summary report, with particular focus on project milestones and the critical path of the project (and tasks that are close to critical). 4. Perform a detailed review of each schedule/programme update that is issued by the contractor and provide a review report to highlight changes made, with focus on milestones and critical (or near critical) activities. 5. Perform schedule analysis and scenario or option examination when changes to the schedule are needed to mitigate a delay or project issue or accommodate a suggested improvement or opportunity to improve the schedule 6. Monitor the contractors actual manpower, equipment and material delivery with respect to the contractors plans to ascertain consistency of the contractors activities with the overall project milestones and completion schedule 7. Manages all interface parameters and conditions between all work streams such as the Power Plant, FCRS, switchyard and transmission line to ensure no scope gaps or delay in delivery of materials or equipment or in execution; 8. Coordinates with contractors and owner's engineer for technical queries, delivery schedules and information requests to ensure smooth interfacing and execution of the works; 9. Coordinates issues and concerns of the project team to and from other concerned internal departments, and other entities such as NGCP, DENR, ERC, DOE, LGU and other external stakeholders. 10. Facilitate and attend coordination meetings, technical discussions to resolve issues and concerns as necessary to facilitate smooth and satisfactory progress of the work. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education : Registered/License Engineer (preferably Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) Minimum Experience : At least ten (10) years combined experience in project management, engineering management and construction site management for power plant or related projects Skills : Results focused and detail-oriented, can work under pressure and has above average oral and written communication skills; : Proficient in computer software programs (ie MS Office) and project scheduling software ( ie MS Project or Primavera); : Advance analytical and problem solving acumen, team player and able to multi-task
