You will be joining an existing Geospatial team, supported by local staff and further supported by our wider, National Geospatial cohort as we continue to expand our Geospatial team in Brisbane.As Geospatial Consultant, the scope of work and role will be as follows:Prepare thematic maps and other geospatial outputsDevelop, maintain, and update GIS databases and spatial datasetsAssist in designing and implementing geospatial solutions including tools, dashboards using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.Assist in data preparation and generation of ESdat tables.Support the automation of geospatial workflows and data transformation processes.Contribute to the development, testing, and scaling of spatial solutions for project needs.Collaborate with geospatial teams across Australia and New Zealand on project delivery.We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.What can you bring to the team?Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:Bachelor’s degree in Spatial Science, Geography, Geospatial Engineering or similar field3+ years’ experience working with Geographic Information Systems preferably in consultancyCapability in spatial data analysis and digital map creation using mapping platformsSkills in automation tools such as Model Builder, FME, and Python would be seen as an advantageProficiency in ESRI’s ArcGIS tools including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS EnterpriseOur Aurecon Attributes define our way of being – they are a collection of qualities that makes us who we are.
