HR Manager (PH Based, Remote) Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Manager based in the Philippines to oversee all facets of human resource operations and strategy. This remote role supports U.S.-based clients, particularly in compliance with California employment law. The HR Manager will be responsible for policy development, employee relations, performance management, training, and cross-border onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in U.S.-aligned HR functions and demonstrate excellence in communication, leadership, and policy execution. Application Form (mandatory - Failure to comply means application will not be entertained) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdMvzLG-EsptCpJamk-VFFUGHILrBf11fA5PNYWSqo-iGk7oQ/viewformusp=header Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate HR strategies aligned with business objectives across multiple international locations Lead policy creation, updates, and implementation-overseeing the review and development of 150+ internal HR policies Provide counsel on compensation, benefits, performance management, labor relations, and HR compliance matters Support U.S. employment law compliance, especially with California labor regulations Onboard global candidates across the U.S., Central America, India, Philippines, and Ukraine Partner with operations leadership to support talent acquisition, HR documentation, and organizational development Serve as first point of contact for employee grievances and participate in investigations and dispute resolutions Train managers and staff on HR policies and best practices Develop HR manuals, reports, checklists, handouts, and forms for internal and external use Maintain updated HR materials and ensure proper documentation in compliance with company standards Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of HR experience with U.S.-based clients, particularly in California compliance and policy development Strong generalist background across employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and talent management Fluent English communication skills-verbal and written (across U.S., Central America, and English-speaking global teams) Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP) Experience with HRIS systems or HRMS platforms Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict timelines Familiarity with international and multi-state labor laws, employee relations, and remote onboarding procedures Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making in a remote setting Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive HR experience across international teams Experience managing cross-border employee relations and compliance projects Exposure to U.S. government regulatory requirements is a strong advantage Master's degree in HR, Social Work, or related field from a reputable institution Work Arrangement: Full-time, remote work-from-home role under a virtual contractor agreement.
